We had a fabulous time and couldn’t believe the outlook, it was stunning. We loved the BBQ on the terrace, so easy for cooking.  We loved the area and hope to be back asap.  We will also look at your Boomer’s beach house, but Bongo’s was great.

We had an absolutely wonderful time and came back way too early. We were surprised at how warm the weather was – didn’t expect to spend days in the surf without wetsuits in April!

The house was perfect and just the right size for us. Kids slept in sleeping bags and we ate out every night (Huey’s, Kembali and 20by12).

Bongo’s is So perfect ! So thoughtfully set up yet relaxingly casual. The situation is perfect for relaxing and walking. The sunrise over the sand and water was breathtaking We will definitely go again

My husband and I had a lovely time. It was just what we were looking for. We wanted to get away to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and the bungalow was terrific.  Just perfect for the two of us to get away without having to rent a whole house!  The access to the lake was terrific as well, as we both Paddleboard – unfortunately the windy weather didn’t lend itself to a lot of paddleboarding, but we did get the chance to get out on the lake.  We would definitely recommend to others and hope to be back ourselves!

Had a wonderful week at Bongos – sublime location, handy to amazing beaches and comfortable, well equipped beach house. Smiths Lake is virtually on the door step – VERY highly recommended.

Had a wonderful stay at Bongo’s. Great family holiday, so much to do. Children loved the calm waters of Smith and near by Wallis Lake whilst beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Clean and comfortable accommodation, great value for money. Will definitely love to come back.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Bongo’s and will definitely be returning. We would like to commend you on your standards as we are very fussy when we book accommodation. We are not concerned about the age but are really picky if the cleanliness isn’t up to scratch!! Thank you for your attention to detail. Didn’t mind the rules on the fridge as that keeps all in line!! Some people can be real slobs!!!! We will definitely be recommending your place to others.
You really did think of everything? Even the night light in the bathroom -very clever! We had the best relaxed rest we needed.

I just wanted to say a really big thank you for the wonderful accommodation that we had at the Bungalow. The family had an amazing few days enjoying the beaches and everything that Pacific Palms had to offer. Your notes were really helpful and appreciated, I was so pleased with the Bungalow it was exactly as described, really clean and with everything we needed and more. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and hopefully have a return trip sooner than later. Thank you once again for the great opportunity for a magnificent holiday.

Bongo’s Beach Bungalow was everything we expected. Comfy, cosy, clean… a real ‘home-away-from-home’ abode in a stunning location. Very expertly decorated by someone who must have had a background in display and an eye for design. The interior captured a true holiday atmosphere, our week’s stay was over all too soon. We spent every day on the lake in our fishing canoe and have marked all the best spots for our next visit. The birdlife is abundant, and I was delighted with the brilliant shots I got of the sea eagles. Fishing, photography, reading and generally blissing out at Happy Hour each day is highly recommended to those who crave the peace and tranquillity that Smiths Lakes offers. Wonderful holiday…thanks Tony. Well done!!

We had a great time at Bongo’s. It is an ideal spot for relaxing. We felt very at home there and enjoyed the peace as well as all the home comforts. We will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bongo’s, particularly as we had the place to ourselves. Loved the possum family living in the tree just off the deck – amazed that four of them could fit in the box! Weather was perfect and water glorious for paddling.

Beautiful setting on the edge of the lake. Park surrounds are ideal for kids and the cosy bungalow had everything we needed and more. Would love to stay again.

Not only was the area so pretty and peaceful, but the bungalow was perfect in every way. Hopefully we may be able to stay again in the not too distant future.

Bongos is a lovely place to stay, a real home away from home. It suited all our needs and our ages ranged from 10 to 50. Love the grounds and the view from the kitchen, lounge and deck. Recommend it to many of our friends.

We had a great time. The view was absolutely breathtaking from the living area and it complimented the way you have decorated the living area with great thought and attention to detail. we really utilised the outdoor open veranda with the BBQ. We will happily recommend this to our friends with kids as it is a very safe area for young kids to play around.

Just got back yesterday and wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous time. Bongos is a gorgeous place and so thoughtfully decorated. We loved the location right on Smiths Lake and the peace and quiet of the whole area. The kids loved the freedom of bike riding around the grounds and all the families there were so genuinely warm and lovely. We’d love to book again for next years school holidays.

Just to let you know we had the best time at Bongo’s at Easter 2005. It was our first time to the area and we fell in love with Pacific Palms. So much so we have returned to Pacific Palms and bought the cafe at Blueys Beach. Thanks for introducing us to the region and we look forward to meeting you when your next here.

This is a great spot! We stayed outside the school holidays and enjoyed the tennis courts, bird life and wide open spaces — while sharing with hardly anyone as the other bungalows were largely empty. The place was very nicely decorated and looked after and the barbecue was excellent. The kookaburras and possums were friendly too.

Comfortable accommodation. We were off season and it was lovely and peaceful, great value, and friendly. Overall experience was like staying at a friends house while they are away.

Loved the Bungalow. What a divine location! The bungalow itself was great and we tried to make the most of the awful weather!! Will have to go again one day when the weather’s better.
